Amanda is a highly skilled generalist workshop facilitator, with strong strategic abilities, excellent report-writing skills and a proven ability to achieve high levels of stakeholder consensus and commitment to implementation. Amanda has extensive international and local experience in facilitating workshops, conferences, project planning meetings. She has a proven ability to facilitate agreements between stakeholders on complex issues, and to achieve high levels of consensus and commitment to implementation.
Amanda’s experience includes facilitating workshops for government and public entities in South Africa, as well as for NGOs and community-based organisations, in wide range of contexts, including at international level (e.g. NEPAD, International Wildfire Conference and Nairobi Convention), national level and at village level in deep rural areas of South Africa and Botswana. As a generalist facilitator, she has facilitated workshops across a wide range of subjects.
Amanda has extensive experience in designing and managing participatory processes in local and large-scale planning programmes. She facilitates multi-stakeholder workshops and conferences involving government, public entities, multilaterals, business, NGOs and academics.
